Notta & Bribery working together. All part of the previous mystery with the Blackhearts (via Blaze Rize) making payments to Notta (but why?). After all, it appeared that the Chin Chillars (George and Notta) actually believed they were killing the real Mr. Bribery by ejecting him from the Space Coupe that they had stolen, many years ago. Personally, I like all the little plot threads that have been piling up since Team Tracy took over, because I feel that the Team will be around to tie them all up, eventually. LOVING THIS STORY!

Bribery’s holding a rose. Notta’s holding a phone, cigarette holder, and newspaper. What is Blaze holding? An empty pill bottle?

Is Notta planning to abduct a Tracy family member?

Notta looking like the “good old days” again.

Good to see Notta’s back in action. Sounds like serious trouble is in Tracy’s future. Blaze must know what Notta is up to, judging from from her horrified look in panel two.

Looked to me like Blaze was surprised by Notta’s call to Bribery, and whatever Notta’s got planned involves drugs.-I’m curious about Bribery’s comment. Why would he be indebted to her?Maybe I was right when I said a long time ago that Bribery really was tossed from the Space Couple, and that this guy isn’t Bribery, but the body double. He’d owe her big time to keep her from revealing that he’s just posing as Bribery. (Of course, whether he is the real Bribery or not, a crazy bad guy like him is still pretty dangerous.)

What the heck is that thing Blaze is squinting at in panel 3? I see that most so far have guessed that it is a pill bottle; that may well be correct, but a number of other possibilities came to mind when I first saw the strip over at Comics Kingdom before midnight (the hour some eight to ten minutes after which GoComics posts in my time zone). And, while some commenters are focussing on Notta’s appearance; as someone observed yesterday (sorry; I don’t remember who), life has apparently been treating Blaze well, too, as she looks significantly curvier than I recall her being in the past….

I think Blaze has a salt shaker (throwing salt over the shoulder for luck?)

He only gets busy when he feels the lameness of the everyday sameness or…

I’m sure he can speak for himself, but my understanding is that there isn’t enough sameness for him. It seems like there’s a different story every day, according to what I read.

I also believe they’re planning something that involves a Tracy family member. They know he’s out of the country and think his family is unprotected.

I’m trying to figure out what in blue blazes is going on in this strip lately. Maybe its because I am sick that I cant follow, but I have “NOTTA CLUE” as to whats going on.

Seems like Team Tracy suffers from more than just a slight case of A.D.D.

Good morning VB and all! My 2 cents: it’s a plastic prescription bottle evidenced by the cap, the appearance of a partial (but blank) label under her forefinger and one caplet/pill at the bottom, partially shielded from view behind the bent fingers of her hand.

That said, I too am looking forward to seeing Vista Bill back in the saddle on Sunday.

Chalk it up to spur of the moment rhyming.

I was very impressed by the rhyming, by the way. Sameness was also a very creative word choice. I’m really not convinced that a 4th panel would really change things as much as you think, though it would have some effect on the pacing.

I suppose my main concern is with so many plots and characters being introduced the past few weeks that the danger is a wrap up that is quick and incomplete. I know that over the past few years I have not been the only one to express this observation. I say this with all respect to team Tracy and hope it’s not viewed as a personal attack. This little doggy is on a very short leash for some unexplained reason so I want to be perfectly clear that I greatly respect the team and am only expressing my concern. I know when to sit and roll over! Woof Woof!

I am truly amazed that everyone is so excited about the upcoming Sunday. Just so you know, it’s the biggest showcase we’ve done yet for Vista Bill.

Wear your boots and watch your step when you come Saturday night, Gweedo. Abner’s been bringing all manner of creatures from the swamp! BTW, you’ll have a chance to meet “The Creature from the Black Lagoon” in person!.
