“It was a total fail!” Ha! Mysta’s obviously up to speed on modern street talk. She’s a hip young woman!

So how did she die, already? Lightning bolt? Snake bite? Heart(less) attack?

For Tracy and Sam, Mysta’s reactions and comments should put to bed any suspicions they may have about whether she had anything to do with Bellowthon’s death.

I’ll surely be a freezer inmate if the condo doesn’t complete the boiler repairs before the cold weather strikes again!

Well, I guess that eliminates Mysta as a suspect (not that there was ever much question).

I am enjoying this story very much. Anything having to do with Mysta or her lunar powers or the Moon people or Space Coupes always gets my full attention. Very enjoyable.

More wonderful art. Tracy touches his chin as he listens to Mysta’s honest answer. Mysta is shocked, but I’ll wager Bellowthon wasn’t. Was it the same poison that laid Coffee low?

i think the tracy BEHIND Mindy today is a reflection.. why would she be talking TO him with her back turned? and looking back on the last three days, she has always been in front of him with the exception of the one panel when she stands next to him

For Mysta’s sake, she had better hope that electrocution is not determined to be the cause of death. That would be a revolting development for her.

I have a small nit pick – it doesn’t ring true to have Mysta call Dick “Tracy”. That is a familiarity used by Sam, the Chief, Jr. and many of the uniformed cops that have known Tracy for years. I would think that Mysta would call him “Mr. Tracy”

I mentioned this when we first came into the “cold room” – but now I’ve checked it for the last few days. Joe is being very consistent in giving Tracy and the others “cold weather vapor breath”, but not Mysta. Nice attention to detail.

I haven’t watched the comments very closely since this story line started, but a couple days ago I started thinking about something and I wondered if anyone else had thought of it. A few months back (about the same time I started reading Dick Tracy) Honeymoon’s powers were just starting to develop and she was having trouble with 2 of her classmates bullying her, they even confronted her and Little Orphen Annie at the mall and one of the girls tried to grab Honeymoon’s antenna and got zapped in the process. When a security guard arrived to deal with the altercation the other girl tried to blame Honeymoon, saying that she attacked the other girl, only to have the guard point out that she’d been observing the encounter on the security monitors and had the whole incident recorded. I’ve been wondering if one of the girls told her “Aunt” Bellowtone about the encounter and she’s been using a one-sided embellished account of the situation to push her bill into congress.

Mysta’s expressions tell me one thing; she’s innocent.

I think our veteran Chief of Detectives has more than enough experience in questioning suspects, witnesses, persons of interest, bystanders, etc., that he can be a shrewd judge of character “on the fly,” so to speak. And I think he can see that Mysta is telling the truth as she knows it and is innocent in the Bellowthon Caper. That leaves Selfy as the only other known person of interest….
