Well, now we know where rainbows come from! And those “cool space bees”? Does their honey come in a “rainbow” of colors? Since cats are obviously from intelligent life somewhere “out there”, they know about these things! ;-) >^.,.^<
A great new chart, yay!! Love Puck’s scientific explanation of Prism. Hope to see some cool space bees some day, I’m envisioning them with tiny little space helmets.
Wayne, my boyfriend’s father, wanted me to thank all of you for the kind thoughts and prayers. He’s definitely feeling better – he isn’t as uncharacteristically cooperative as he was. They’re still running tests, trying to figure out what caused the problem and how to keep it from happening again. Wound Care will be up to take care of the infection that has set in in his foot tomorrow morning. Not sure what’s taking so long with that…
I know it’s been several days since an update so… My husband, Marc, is still in the hospital for the forseeable future. Kidney failure, heart attack, fluid in one lung and the prognosis is not good. Pray for him please.
“Magnificatz”, about cats, of course, by Steve Ogden here on GoComics was to be discontinued, but now we’ll be able to view reruns and maybe some new ones too. Check it out :>
Pretty Rock Intensifying Sky Magic — Absolutely perfect. How is it possible no one saw this before? I guess you just need the right kind of head — one with rainbows and all kinds of good stuff in it.

I love cat science. It’s so much more magical than people science.

Somewhere there is a Pink Floyd reference here.
Is Elvis on the Dark Side Of The Moon?
Maybe when Elvis knocks over the canisters Ma’am can do a Clare Torry from The Great Gig In The Sky .
Torry finally got to share songwriting credits with Rick Wright for her vocalizations.

I’ve always thought prisms were magic.

“Ancient people amulets”—I love it! And I’ve never seen the mechanics of rainbows described better than the chart in panel 3. :) Sky magic, yes!

I wonder if those “cool space bees” are anything like the “C-beams glitter[ing] in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate” :)

Don’t question Pucky’s science, Lupin. He’s got charts and everything. It’s Science.

I wonder how many of us owe our fascination with prisms to Hayley Mill’s “Pollyanna”?

But were those ancient people amulets given to the ancient people by ancient aliens? Ancient astronaut theorists say “yes”.
cat19632001 about 7 years ago
Ancient People amulets came from the Space Cats. The Space Cats know everything.

I love the idea of little rainbow space bees harvesting color for the sun! Pure poetry!

That was how it was taught in Science class in school. Other than that the school was pretty weird……..
Nuliajuk about 7 years ago
Clearly those colours were imprismed inside the amulets until the sun set them free.

It all makes sense now. Puck explained it better than my grade school science class.

That’s just what prisms do. Without sunlight, they do nothing; but when you add sunlight, suddenly they’re blinding you with science.
