The fact that Caulfield even asked such a question shows just how much the lines have been blurred. Too many kids don’t get the concept of paying their dues. They think they should have all the rights of adults with none of the responsibilities.
Don’t you love how he casually states, “I haven’t gotten around to it yet”, completely ignoring the fact that he is in school expressly to do his assignments?
