I feel your pain Earl, I’ve had that happen with my neck, my legs, arms, etc.

Doggone kids are made of rubber!

Injuring myself in my sleep is hard to explain.

Falls used to be the leading cause of death around his age range.

I feel so old. I can totally relate to Earl’s problem. BTY – Is that his name? The memory’s going, too :(

Only two weeks? I would have thought longer. How long have Earl and Opal been married?

Last week, I sprained my wrist trying to get my house keys out of my trouser pocket. And they weren’t even in that pocket — I keep them in the other pocket, so I actually sprained the wrong wrist.

I hurt myself by sitting too long, so then I hurt myself by standing too long.

Uh, I think it’s past time to see a doctor about that, Earl!

We need a Nelson non-injury pill for old age !

I lead an adventurist life growing up and I sometimes find it amazing that I was never severely injured. No way I’d get up in a tree now…

Oh yeah, I’ve got a few of those.

I just bought VERY expensive pillows to help with the neck pain and, guess what, they don’t work!

these are the golden years——-we have worked our entire lives to get here——(sarcasm)

I used to get cricks in my neck from work stress, but not since I retired!

Ah – to be young and flexible (and quasi-invulnerable) again…

It’s a fact of physics….Kid bounce, Grandparents don’t !

True stories: I threw out my back on notable occasions, once brushing my teeth – bent over to spit. Another time just reaching for the toilet paper.

Those were the days. Ah, youth!

Fell out of too many trees when he was Nelson’s age.

OOHHHH!! So there IS a diffence between being young and being old. Hunh!

Happens every morning for SOME of us. The pillow, not the tree.

debra4 life, your confusion about his name, is understandable. He gets called a lot of things depending upon who is talking to him Earl, Grampa, Dad, etc.
