Oh how cute, they still think Christmas is a religious holiday …

They should make enough copies of every picture to send to all the kinfolks and let the kinfolks decide which ones, they want to keep. I am sure they know enough about Calvin, that they can choose “favorites.”

The kid is nothing if not photogenic.

Dad said at the beginning that they were sending Calvin’s pictures to the relatives so they would stay away. Calvin is just helping with that.

A ‘perfect’ photo wouldn’t look like their kid… these pix will convince them.

And the tie…

Calvin will become famous as: “This is what you will become if…”

Think about it, Dad. You could be “relatively free” shortly, if you know what I mean… :)

I reckon the first picture had something to do with Dad’s slipper and is the after shot

I’d use the one of the back of his head. It should be easy to draw a smiley face on that. Problem solved!

I like the second photo. It’s a good action shot.

today you can just photoshop someone’s head on Calvin’s body…

That second one confused me for years- I had no idea what was happening in it at first, and even when I figured out he was spinning his head, it kind of didn’t look right until I “placed” everything.

He looks constipated in the 1st one…

They may wish to skip the pictures, the relatives may mistake them for an exorcism moment.

I would have bribed Calvin – that if I got a great shot, I would pay him “X”. Or buy him “Y”. It may not be the best parenting, but sometimes you do what you have to do.

Back in the day, if my dad was taking pictures, & I did all those monkey faces….my dad would see to it that I wouldn’t be alive to type this today

Snap a picture of Hobbs decorating the Christmas tree and use that on your holiday cards.

No. 3 would work IF they were in another strip where Dad was a dentist.

With a kid like Calvin you would have to have religion or the patience of a saint.

Dad one of Calvin’s picture will make the family laugh.

Sometimes you can fool the kid by taking the picture before reaching the count of 3. (only works once for smart kids).

Very true, Calvin’s Mom. With that hair, Calvin looks more like Schroeder or something!I love the first two pics especially, where Calvin looks like he tasted something sour, and then when he’s wiggling his head.
