I really don’t know what to say other than clearly Luann is a warm personality, while her BFF is a cool personality. Not cold, Bernice can burn hot, but generally she is a fact based person, at least her version of fact recognition. I have known women like her, extremely smart, thinking they are generally smarter than most other people, but not in a mean way, but so narrow focused they miss so many other ways of looking at life, but then they either attract the warm, or hot personalities, or other cool personalities. It’s a even proposition as to which pair works best warm, cool, or cool, cool, but Luann and Bernice are definitely warm, cool. Of course Luann and Tara are warm, HOT! Love the HOT ones.

Or tuning off the screens?

Being emotional has nothing at all to do with dry eyes. Dry eye occurs because tear ducts get plugged and produce less oily lubricants, depending on which gland is compromised. It often happens as we get older. In Berneice’s case I suspect she’s been simply spending too much time on the Internet. Often when we stare at a computer screen we forget to blink. But many people with dry eye can cry perfectly fine. It’s a completely different issue. Being emotional doesn’t not enter into it.

Or put down the tech! Yeah, I can’t do it either.

I vaguely recall Pru having a heart-to-heart talk with Bernice. Bernice needs somebody to get to her, even if it’s just friendship.

Crying tears and keep-the-eyes-moist tears are chemically different. While crying sets the eyes they don’t have the protective action of regular tears.
