This strip is too funny! I bought fresh kale yesterday (nutritional value), removed the tough stems, and will chop it up in my salads. Actually, I find the flavor adds a bit of zest.

We have kale growing at our casa de campo in the country – as landscape decoration ! I don’t think my wife knows it’s edible and I’m not about to enlighten her.

I found something worse yesterday, someone asked me to try her snack…dried okra chips. Crunchy and slimy at the same time, ugh.

Stuffed Kale Rolls are only the favorite snack of the person who makes them, not the person who is tasked with eating them. “Edible plant” doesn’t equate to “Good to eat”.

I do like ornamental kale in my garden. It looks good all winter long and in the spring the caterpillars eat it up!!

Kale is a winter crop for cows. They love it…and they can keep it!

Kale is good in salad. Never had kale rolls before.
