But Penguins would be seeing longer dark when Danae in the northern hemisphere would be getting longer day, making her even scarier?

A LONG summer vacation? Oh, you wish. Little girl will be regretting those words the moment she sees 3 other words……“Back-To-School”, show up in stores and ads all too soon. It always gave me stomach butterflies sometime in August. These days I think the stores start even earlier

Only consolation is that the eyes adjust to the sun much easier than someone suddenly turning on the light to get you up, or reaching for the milk in the frig. That is enough to start the day off wrong.

Not so oddly enough, I feel the same way about Sundays. I however avoid adjusting shades because half the time they fall down and I have a new project for the day. Phooey!

my mom named me Dawn. Yes, I am a morning person. I LOVE the long days of summer. Of course there are some in my family who don’t. Not sure where those genes came from.

Official sunrise is before 5am here, right now, but it’s visible just after 4. Fortunately, I get up at 4am, so am up before it and don’t have to worry about it waking me. Just keeping me up at night when it’s still visible out at 9pm.

It coming into winter in my little patch of paradise but living close to the equator, as we do, it really doesn’t make much difference what season it is.

Seasons lose their meanings somewhat when one is within 10º of the equator.

When I was in middle school I discovered sleeping masks. Find one that is comfortable and you won’t care what time of day it is.
