Ted, I understand you’re implying we should make sure we are voting for a worthwhile candidate, but this comic seemed to be a sublime support of the present occupant of the Oval Office.
And if you actually see equivalence between someone’s stance on the death penalty and someone who is torturing children even as we speak, you’re a moron.
Biden, Harris, Warren, Booker, Buttiegieg, Sanders, any of them are not only preferable to Donald Trump, it’s not CLOSE.
What’s next, a claim that Joe Biden and Mussolini are equal?
Oh come on. For the first time in, well, forever, democrats are being given real choices, and you’re complaining? Why? Because you don’t like any of the choices?
Hell, Ted, announce that you’re running. I’ll even consider YOU before Trump. Easily.
This is all too real. I can take one issue, the military, and winnow out a lot of the current Democratic candidates (and a majority of Democratic Representatives and Senators). Voting YES on the Pentagon budget supports a policy of global war, with all the misery and death that causes. Back when he was a senator, Biden always voted yes. Booker always votes yes. Klobuchar always votes yes. O’Rourke always voted yes. Warren has voted yes half the time. Even Gabbard, who speaks out against regime-change wars, voted yes in 2015, although she has voted no since. Only Sanders has always voted NO in the last 5 years.
It’s easy with Republicans; have any of them voted NO except maybe Rand Paul? But when Democrats vote exactly the same as Republicans on such a crucial issue, why should I ignore that?
A mannequin would be better than trump but the cartoon does display how the republicans pick. Given what they knew before the election about trump.. they picked him anyway.
I’d vote for a rabid wolverine over Trump. A Superfund cleanup site looks good in comparison. I’d rather have a decent human being but you nrver get those in presidential elections.
Yes, I would vote for my next door neighbor before Trump. He has a solid understanding of the situation in the country and he isn’t insane, usually. That’s all it takes to be a better choice than Trump. But, we actually have about a dozen candidates who would be good choices even if the Republican weren’t deplorable. Having an abundance of good choices has somehow, in the press, become a problem for the Democrats. In reality, it lets us choose the best of the bunch. Then, that person has some great choices for cabinet positions. This could produce a team in the White House that would be able to restore America’s respect around the world and address genuine problems here at home.
Anyone who reads Rall regularly and thinks he supports Trump is delusional. I can’t speak for Ted but, despite the fact that I’m one of those (shudder) dreaded baby boomers, we seem to think alike in many ways. I wouldn’t vote for any of the Democrats except Sanders and maybe Inslee but I need to find out more about him. If I’m right Ted and I both live in a state that the Democrats will carry no matter whom they run. I agree with what he states in this comic.
Well this was dumb. Even the worst Democrat candidate can be depended on not acting like a lying, sexist, racist, corrupt, childish, illiterate buffoon. And there’s no Democrat version of Trump in the primaries.
The current political climate would seem an arid desert when looking for an ethical Republican public servant to throw one’s support behind. Doesn’t seem to matter to members of that party as to the needs of the people or the country as long as the payoffs are good.
Silly hypothetical question. “What if Trump ran as a Democrat?” He won’t!!! But it’s not just Trump we should vote against. I would vote for ANY of the actual Democrats nominated for President since Kennedy over ANY of the Republicans nominated for President since Nixon (the first time). And no, not one of the “third party” candidates, ever, would have made a successful President even if they had had a snowballs chance… except for Teddy Roosevelt of course.

No. Not if Il Douche runs as a Democrat. But everything else, yes. It sucks but unless I see someone behaving worse than him, it’s pretty cut and dry.

Ted, is there anyone you would support? As president, I mean.

The last panel is a nice rendition of when cognitive dissonance becomes too much.

We would be so lucky for Trump to run as a Dem, then he would be sure to lose in the primary.

Rall makes another comic in support of tRump. Rall’s working for the Russians is getting more blatant. Gotta make the boss happy.

Right now, I would vote for any of these candidates over Trump. And no, I wouldn’t vote for Trump over a GOP candidate. Unless he was Mike Pence.

It is absolutely true that Trump must be defeated. Also, Harris is opposed to the death penalty and has said so publicly.

“Gropy Biden”? wow, cool name calling; just like Trump. I know we tease about you being a Trump supporter; but this is making it seem all too real.
