To b fair, “WORKING” is in quotes. I have seen signs put up by female crews changed with electrical tape to read WO-MEN working.
They need at least this many guys to watch for careless speeding drivers in the work zone!

That’s why they changed the signs here from ‘men working’ to ‘work area ahead’ …
I always enjoy when they have a good looking woman working the slow sign. Also saw a pretty beefy lady working some heavy machinery, there isn’t a pay gap there. She has one lucky husband.
I’m kinda surprised no one mentioned the quotation marks on the word “Working.”
Florida used to have the State Road Department, SRD. Many took SRD to mean “sit rite down.”
Illinois doesn’t waste money on actual workers – they just put up orange barrels for several miles.
A city in GA is using police, disguised as street sweepers etc., to catch people texting while driving.

Where is the OSHA representative? There has to be an OSHA safety inspector present too.
