Some of you figured out that she was a Howell Baby, even before she knew it!

It seems weird to me that Lizz seemed to be talking to Tracy and Pat Patton yesterday and now it looks to be Tracy and Sam instead.

I wonder if all the close-ups are a tribute to Dick Locher’s style.

Lizz looks content with knowing her birth parents despite the Howell involvement. There is still the matter of finding out who wants [private] Det. Frisk silenced.

Hey, everyone.

Some of you may have wondered why I didn’t post my list of Tracy stories after the end of the Doc case. The answer is I did, on September 16, but you didn’t see it because I’d been banned and didn’t even know it.

I also posted on September 22 to express my gratitude at Mike for bringing back Frisk. When neither that nor my list produced any response from the rest of you I realized something was up, not that I’m all that special, but on this forum most main comments will get some response even if it’s just a single like. I signed out, and sure enough, my posts were now invisible to me as well.

I’ve been trying to contact the mods since then. I finally got a response today. Since I don’t post that much these days (Gweedo’s banning, which unless I’ve missed something, is still in effect, killed much of my enthusiasm for posting comments) and usually just to update my list, my posts had been incorrectly flagged as spam. The ban has now been lifted, and I’m back.

And shout out to Pequod, who posted a like for my September 22 post on the same day my ban was lifted. :)

I think the reason I was undecided about the drawing of Lizz’s face yesterday was because of I think that there was shadow shading on her face.

I am curious where this story line is going, since Fisk already got into one shootout (presumably) because of her current occupation of tracking down the Howell babies

So Lizz took the time to put her coffee cup down (on her lap, in her right hand?) so that she could point with her finger?

Unless she’s left handed, how about she simply put it in her right hand for a drink before continuing her story? We don’t have to assume that zero time has passed between those two panels.

I wonder who her parents are or were???

Just spreading the love everywhere, isn’t the good detective?

so frisk talks to detectives about their parents but not the shoot out in the streets? What? The gunsel in the hospital didn’t like the news? Tracey, bring Frisk in NOW and find out why searching for birth parents resulted in a gun fight.

for THIS she needed another cup of coffee and was “shaken” yesterday? she seems pretty nonchalant about it today doesnt she.

First of all its NOT like Lizz (notice the two Z’s) didnt know she was adopted. Granted she didnt know she was a Howell Baby but she IS a friggin detective… if she wanted to find out who her birth parents were i dont think she would have taken too long to find out.

Not for nothing but.. this story is getting more and more lame as the days go by.

Yep. As I speculated before, Liz is wearing a dress. How can she possibly be a cop wearing a get up like that?

So C. Thomas Howell, (Good character actor) is her biological dad?

People seem to be forgetting that in the Sunday, 22 IX 19, strip Friskie identified her investigation’s target as Mrs. Clair Howell, the baby-farmer. That Lizz now knows she was “a Howell baby” (and her late sister Julie as well) just helps focus the investigation, drawing Tracy ever deeper into the case….

What’s a “Howell Baby”?
