Just a wild 3 am guess, but Wiley could be suggesting that the guy died happy that he wouldn’t have to listen to anymore of the tripe that passes for news these days. I can understand his frustration.

I have a box of Morton’s next to the set. It’s the only way I can take the news. As for Fox News – I can’t tell whether I am watching them or Ancient Aliens. I’m more inclined to believe the latter.

I hate the news. They control too much of how we think, individually and collectively. Our nation is now in a “panic” as if the bubonic plague has returned with a vengeance and they are doing the job of ‘The Grim Reaper’. Calm down, act responsibly, and deal with the virus for what it is. Most of us are going to get sick…it’s that type of virus and it will spread everywhere while it runs its course. The world is not coming to an end…..Yet!

I suppose ‘better off dead’ might be a thing, but for all the crap going on, it is still spring. The promise of sunshine and green grass has to count for something.
