We are very close to having all of our stuff moved, Now comes the ‘settling in’ phase. We do not lack things to do while sheltering.

After 5 weeks of being cooped up in the house, my wife and I are ready to strangle each other. I don’t care how much you love someone, you still need to get away from each other even for a few hours. No one can tell me that they have never been apart in 50 years. If you say that, it means that you really do not talk. No two people agree on everything. That would be boring.

Quarantine day 21: It is not at all boring staying in the house. But how come one bag of rice has 7,456 pieces and another one has 7,398?

The networks don’t help at all. It’s almost all reruns, and reruns from just a short time ago.

Wash the windows, paint the bedroom, the joyful jobs are endless…

They’ve been social distancing and sheltering at home long before the pandemic.

There are countless books available on line, including e-books if you have a reader. Supposedly Kindle has readers for PCs. Now, how do I get on-line? Can any of you guys help? It makes me wish I was still an IT guy. Also I can’t get this shoe untied… it doesn’t even seem to have a shoelace!

my wife and I figure that once this is over there will be a lot of opportunities for travel so we have been planning on where to go. No cruise ships.

I think the point is he can’t think of anything to do without his phone.

Clean the house, work in the yard, walk the dog, make food, do yoga, read, watch Netflix, do puzzles. I am never bored.

This must be really difficult for people who never learned to entertain themselves. Sad for them. It is nice to enjoy your own company.

Every time there’s a storm coming, that’s my first thought. I was once caught with the power out and the phone battery at 10%. Terrifying time it was.

get a power strip, a long cable for your charger and plug in your phone so you can sit on the couch with it charging :)
