The wine must taste better in a hot bubble bath. And why is she wearing a towel? I she afraid that Arlo will barge in while she refills the tub?

Ya know, there’s most likely an ice bucket around there somewhere. Just saying.

If I was THAT dirty I’d take a second bath, too..

That’s why I like hot tubs over bathtubs. They never get cold.

Who adds mustard to their bath?

Watching movies, it is interesting to see how many details are ‘screwed up’ when going from one scene to another, illustrated by the last panel, was the faucet in her head in the first panels. No the tub IS against the wall.

Who refilled the wine glass?

Black water? How long has it been since her last bath?

I guess others also thought she must have been VERY dirty to make the water so black! Yikes! She’s gonna need a second bottle of that wine before she’s through.

Sic transit gloria bullae. Because everything’s classier in Latin.

…in the 4th- a full wine glass and she’s making more bubbles…

Reminds me of the strip “Henry” in its earlier days.

My wife has accepted the whirlpool tub in our new house takes a while to fill. The tankless water heater has to throttle down the flow rate in the winter.

Arlo: Why is the hot water bill so high this month? Janis: We had too much wine in the house.

WHY is faucet now on the right side? The tub doesn’t have 2 sides so she can’t be on the other side. Or is there a hidden "James Bond " door it comes out of.

A glass of wine, a warmish bath, … and SUDS!

I’ve never liked soaking in a tub of water. It is a waste of time and it feels weird to be naked for so long while doing nothing.

Remember this one is in newspapers.

I like Arlo and Janis, but every once in a while there’s one that makes no sense to me whatsoever. Like this one.The bubbles ran out and so did the wine. Is that supposed to make me laugh?

NOT DONE!!! Refilled the glass, now to refill the bubbles! I TOTALLY get this!

Here’s my guess: She dozed off with a little bit of wine in the glass. She woke up to find the wine glass empty and her suds gone—suggesting SOMEone may have sneaked in and polished off the wine while enjoying an unobstructed view. Hence, she refills her glass and makes sure to restock the bubbles for a little privacy.

She was cold.

Did anyone else notice that she evidently switched bathrooms?
