I spent my teen years as a beach bum and my âGolden Yearsâ fighting skin cancer. As cancer goes, it is usually easily treated, but it is still a pain in the butt. Had I known I would live this long, I would have taken better care of myself, maybe. It has been a wild, fun ride.
He should have waited until she was on her stomach with her bra unhooked. Then he could throw some cold water on her nihilism and see her reaction. ;-)
By now Arlo, as a tenured husband, has to know that a happy marriage means relinquishing control to the wife 95% of the timeâŠhappy wife = happy life. The other 5% has to be retained when the wife loses common sense or gets a bit too neglectful about the welfare of both.
Arlo, step in and make sure that the SPF is applied and the clock is set to wrap it up for the day. BTW, there are better alternatives to the diet soda. Even wine would be a better choice if there is not an addiction possibility.
If she starts hitting the opium pipe, she better put on lots of sunscreen first. Passing out without sunscreen in the midday sunâŠvery bad. I got bad sunburns as a kid that way. And without the opium.
So, I guess the joke is âto heck with it allâ then why the diet soda? Just go for the gusto of more calories. (of course I realize some people actually prefer the taste of diet sodas but then the joke wouldnât be funny).
Been doing this in the sun since March in the back yard. Nice feeling being with the birds, the squirrels, the caas, the dogs, the sun, the wind etc! Of course some wine helps too! Had to go to decaf, but now I can drink it any part of the day.

If she meant what she said in frame #2, she wouldnât be wearing a swimsuit. Of course, frame #4 dispels that.

âTo heck with it allâ means more than just untying your straps, JanisâŠ.

Diet soda and some SPF 50.

Some tanning is okay. Overdoing it for a woman means leathery, wrinkled skin and a much higher chance of skin cancer.
Besides, Arlo, I thought you liked tan lines?

A Vitamin D Deficiency can make COVID-10 worse. Thatâs a deficiency, so taking 50,000 units (or even 500) a day wonât make any difference.

Janis is getting her Vitamin D, Arlo. It will help her fight off the virus. Also youâre cartoon characters.

Diet? Screw the diet. Bring on the sugar and trans fats, Baby!

Arlo has become too cynical and sexless. He used to like it when Janis wore a bathing suit.

Sunbathing, cigarettes, and diet soda will all more damage than opium, and cigarettes are far more addictive.
