The only disappointment in this strip is Brad’s aloofness.

Most current strips show a rather strong relationship between Brad and Shannon – a big reason I have become a Shannon fan.

Two weeks in a row without Luann appearing in a Sunday strip. And she’s been inn the appearance doldrums lately. Even more surprising, she’s been without a major arc since, Perhaps, DATE-PIC!

There seems to be a sea change in the creator of the story lines. And we all know who that person is…

Shannon is boring the heck out of Brad with her cutesy wordplay. Even his yellow screen is more fascinating.

Shannon looks smaller then she did two months ago. Plus, I WANNA SEE THE ANN/LES/TIFFANY/TOM DRAMA.

Puddles must be as old as all get out by now. Glad he’s still with us.

Luann is painfully missing in her own major arc. I hope GnK can come up with something better just some Luann arc with her just being gaga over some new guy!!! And DATE-PIC just doesn’t get the nod.

Her art class sequences had interest. Jack, Tara were matchups with energy for her, also the three together. Luann and Tiffany thrown together at the DeGroot’s also has promise. Even a deeper arc with Luann reevaluating her feelings for Gunther and causing further strife in his troubled relationship with Bets; that would be huge hit if done well.

So, come on, GnK (or is it jus K?) ! Give us something meaty for Luann!

Although I believe Brad, Toni and Shannon will come to dominate the strip. Something Karen might relate to better.

At least she doesn’t terrorise poor Puddles like Lindy used to back in the day!

Speaking of July Ate, I just read that Joey Chestnut set a new record, eating 75 hot dogs in 10 minutes. He was a heavy favorite.

If the Luann arc could be about Lu winning the lottery, there would be loads of juicy material. Quill coming back witH his hand out. Boys coming out of the woodwork, and to our surprise, Bwad does not have his hand out, but is out to protect her with a vengeance!

I love that Shannon has reached an age where her word play is more sophisticated.

Sure, Bwad’s gonna be a great dad someday. Listening to his kid’s silly jokes? Boring! You take care of them, Toni, I’m trying to watch the yellow playlist on YouTube. I simply must see the latest episode. And I simply have to leave an amusing meme in the comments section.

Brad was a late bloomer. He was a sloppy, eating machine who owned one shirt and picked on Luann. Then appeared Toni. Brad became her service dog on a short leash, panting after her every move. She called the shots, and with the arrival of Shannon, the emasculation of Brad was complete. It was time to sell the outhouse, because Toni had his butt. He is now definitely “Back Burner Brad”. His sun has set.

Looks like they are visiting Frank and Nancy because Puddles live there.

I knew about it BEFORE I was in the first grade. Before the town fireworks EVERYBODY in the area stood and recited the Pledge To The Flag and sang the Star Spangled Banner. Try to find folks to do that today!
