It is a pivotal moment in our history, but not that it will make a big difference to the average voter. Working class stiffs will continue working to pay bills and raise families regardless of who is in charge. What really needs to be addressed is the media and how they have manipulated voters. Freedom of the press was not meant to be an allowance of propaganda.I don’t know how many understand that when FOX news presents a story that CBS presents in a whole different light…..Someone is lying. If not lying, they are certainly withholding information. When social media takes control of what they don’t want you to see it is corruption.

Trump says he will go to court to reverse the results if he does not win in the swing states..the ones where he has goons at polling stations to intimidate voters to vote for him. What a scumbag.

Do we want to be divided or do we want to be united?

Well, that’s a surprisingly dark take on today . . . but probably accurate.

If the outcome is not known by milk and cookie time then the Betty Davis legendary line delivered in 1950 applies.

As Driftglass always says, “Before the election, chop wood, carry water. After the election, chop wood, carry water.”

And as Candide said, “First, we must tend our garden.”

I pray for peace…that we can respect each other….as American we choose our leaders, as humans we choose our own behavior…done with the finger pointing and hatred that media has incited..

So much of our life winds up in this comic strip that I keep waiting for our recently acquired “pandemic dog” to show up.

Hopefully a new, better day is dawning.

OMG at first I thought this was Jimmy’s farewell strip! But everyone seems to think it is about election day so I’m going with that. Today we vote and we get what we deserve. Whatever the outcome we will survive it for the next four years and beyond.

Poor Janis is stricken with worry and anxiety – like many millions of American women today.
