1963 was pre-Beatles and there seemed to be a new dance craze every two weeks. There was the Pony, the Mashed Potato and the Locomotion which was developed after the song came out.

I remember 1963 very well. The Twist was the big dance craze then.

Well, Well. Looks like Somebody just invented an early form of “dodgeball.” here. That’s gonna be a BIG recreational sport in the not too distant future.

Mr/Ms/Other Dino Should quickly get on the ground floor of this soon to be popular money making sport, FIND whomever rolled those wheels at Him/Her/Non-binary and EAT them.

He’s been waltzing thru life this week.

We were doing the ‘Hitchhiker’ – until the ‘Twist’ came along, just as I was graduating high school. The ‘Bop’ and the ‘Chicken’ were 50s staples. Before all those new dances was ‘The Stroll’. I did not have talented feet, mostly watched. Never heard of the ‘Wheel Dance’.

He has been beautifully smooth and graceful these last few strips.

The Madison, Stroll, Hand Jive…
