Day after Tomorrow for Sterling. A good apocalyptic movie is just the thing to make the heart cheery as we round out the year. I thought for sure he would dream of something or someone on fire but it nice to see him branching out to the other forms of mass destruction.
The snow is too evenly sized and spaced to be a spatter by a brush—yet not so mechanically regular as to look like a stylized wallpaper pattern. Must have been carefully created by hand. Masterful.

The first snow of the season, and Sterling has gone a full “Planet of the Apes” level catastrophe.

I’m guessing Rose is disappointed that the library is closed.

Love the critter (groundhog? Too little. Vole? Too big?) speaking, “Will Henry.”

Nice introductory insights into the youngsters of Snug Harbor. Now, one for those in periphery? Adult support characters.

I’m not clear on Sterling and the Statue of Liberty. Is it because she is holding a torch?

One mystery to me is the “thing” on the snow between Rose and Wallace. Is it something or just a swirl by Will?

Sorry, but Spud’s big bucket head is just too tempting a target. Great comic today, the the way.
