Sports teams may not have been force to have politically correct names. BUT! There is always something to fill the gap. No Pandemic – The Great Caldera finally explodes and takes most of North America with it. Trump – President Tim Kaine proclaims himself a King and abolishes the States. Sports – South America leads in Football/Soccer and the world goes crazy over memorabilia. There is so much that can be unappealing in that other reality!!!

(sigh) Can you be nostalgic for something that didn’t happen?

For those of stuck in this universe, this is quite cruel.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! dt LOST; eric and donnie junior are in quarantine, and m murphy, after a long period of soul-searching, finally decided to give the go-ahead for release of funds/info to JOE BIDEN and his team. Pandemic or no, those things alone are reason to celebrate.

Willey Miller, I’d like to point out that artists and entertainers such as yourself typically live in a very cloistered environment where they are surrounded by like thinking individuals. But, roughly half of our nation’s voting population voted Trump. How do you explain to your syndicate that you are willing to antagonize and disrespect half of your potential audience because of your personal political beliefs? I appreciate your talent and wit and have tolerated your previous political commentary, but the strip today is over the line. I’m tired of the hate and intolerance of the left, and please don’t respond that you have suffered the same. You haven’t had to endure 4 years of hate and intolerance from the press, hate night talk shows, SNL, Samantha Bee, celebrity award shows and social media. You haven’t turned on the TV to watch one of your favorite shows to find they’ve decided to preach about their woke beliefs. And you haven’t turned to the comics that you’ve enjoyed and looked to for mental relief for over 60 years to see that they have become politicized like everything else. This nation has always had people with opposing political opinions, and we have always tolerated, not liked, those with opposing views. At least, until now. Please consider being more tolerant.
