Confession – I had to look up QAnon. And even more scary – they might have been what was rioting and taking over the streets of my city today! All the streets where near to a stand still. The buses (that’s what I take) were blaring instructions of what to do and where to go. By the time I was working my way home… three police cars were surrounding one of the buses. Still haven’t found out what was going on with that! I just had the strong feeling of – I would be safer HOME!

I had to google Qanon Believers, it wasn’t pretty.

The mere “fact” that both of them are there to discuss the matter shows that the response in panel 1 is, in context, off the mark.

(And anyway – it only applies to guys called Pauli. I hate to get nitpicking with a cartoon, but there are principles at stake here.)

A universe with TWO Edies would not be emotionally stable

It truly would be scary and perhaps the start of the end if there is a universe where the Qanoners are the norm and elected to lead the nation. Maybe the past four years have been an effort to enter our universe in their search for the global pedophile cabal that controls everything.

Fortunately, they have not yet solved the problem of the Orange glow that we learned helps us to identify their leaders and eliminate them. We just have to get rid of two more in Georgia. Go to gasenate (dot) com and contribute…even a fiver would help.

But, if you decide to stay – and it does result in the extinction of all life and the universe itself – there will be nobody left to say, “I told you that was a bad idea.”

If everything was perfect and everybody had what they wanted there would still be turmoil because what people want is different from what others want.

People believe QANON and FOX because both outlets tell people what they want to hear which is that they are not responsible for the situation they are in. There are dark, sinister (and totally fictitious – editor’s note) forces that are out to take things like property or freedoms away from them.

Believers have a degree of naivety and find that merely accepting what they are told by “authority figures,” without proof, if it agrees with what their wishful thinking tells them, is more satisfying than fact checking and logic.

Take, for example, the GOP “fact” that doctors are paid to diagnose patients with Covid. If I am convinced that Covid is a hoax and that it will magically go away, I’ll accept this as Gospel. I will not question WHO is paying them or why there is no paper trail or how the word is getting out to the doctors or that absolutely NO doctors have come forward to state that they have been approached with this offer.

The alternative is that every one of the 950,000 doctors in the United States are in on this conspiracy and not a single one of them is willing to break ranks. That’s a cover-up on par with the faked moon landings and how the “Deep State” pre-planned the 9-11 attacks.

It’s easier to believe than to think.

Actually, that law has nothing to do with two Eddies – it just means two things can’t be in the same place at once. Physics is therefore responsible for every rear-end collision.

With all that is going on now days I am starting to wonder if maybe we all have not slipped into an alternate reality.

Well, somebody has to stay here and stand for the good. Not necessarily the left or the right and not necessarily right or wrong. Just be nice.

QAnon is the POWERLESS right-wing boogeyman the media and democrats (but I repeat myself :-) ) bring out when the want to scare children and people with small minds and less intelligence!

There have always been conspiracy nuts, people who find patterns where there are none, and lazy anarchists. Unfortunately, the Internet has made it so much easier for them to find each other and develop illusion de groupe . Some groups even start as jokes and have their websites hijacked by the seriously delusional. We live and learn; we must never elect one of these nitwits again.

He may need to borrow a coin from that universe since there is a coin shortage due to covid in this one.

As long as the two versions of him stay Socially Distant from each other it shouldn’t really be a problem.

Cap’n Eddie’s pipe is more articulate than some of the RWNJs who post in the comment section.

Even more horrific is to believe there are honest Democrats. Progressives/Activists/Anarchists. They all want to rule the world by their own rules.

This is no time to be sloppy or lazy. So roll up your sleeves. Flex your digits and let go with some clever or silly thoughts. I’m pulling for you, we’re all in this together.

They aren’t existing in the exact same place so it is not that.

QAnon, and its likes, have taken the Nazi propaganda playbook and expanded it into the 21st century. Besides minorities, LGBQT, Mexicans, Muslims and women, the undesirables now include Democrats.

What I don’t understand about QAnon’s White Supremacist’s and Donald Trump’s fears, is the very thing they’re trying to do, create an authoritarian dictatorship. “Be careful what you wish for, you may just get it.”

Or had to put up with MAGAts on every street corner.

The real hippies had the right idea all along. Instead of positioning themselves on the left or right of “the line”, they opted to exist completely outside of it. I agree. So while lefties and righties bicker (I’m somewhat left of center), I’ll be at the Hog Farm, Morningstar or some other Flower Power commune.
