As terrible, depressing and disgusting as today’s strip is, I did get a good laugh out of it, so that’s a positive.

I’ve had a pretty good 2020, for the most part. This is how I normally live anyway. And apart from what happens when I eat my own cooking, I’ve only been sick once!

The upgrade to 2021 has been postponed, as there are still a few bugs that need to be sorted out.

Yearning for 2021, eh?

Luckily, it’s only hindsight that’s 20:20.

Hindsight is 2020 – it will happen, remember how we thought Nov 3rd would never come? 2021 will eventually turn out better.

Geez, Louise! For me personally, 2020 has been the best year of my life! That is neither lie nor exaggeration. Of course, I’m a “glass half full” kinda guy anyway. But I’ve been able to see and experience so many wonderful things this year that, when I look back later in life, folks likely won’t understand my fond reminiscences.

Then again, life has always been what you make of it.

This is why we have calendars - so you can rip the year apart when it’s over.

Rat, this was likely a bridge too far.

I kinda don’t want 2020 to end because at least I know what I’m getting. When 2021 comes, it will come with more unprecedented surprises.

This comic is starting to lose its appeal. While 2020 hasn’t been great, there have been much worse years. Is he just out of ideas?

Definitely a less than stellar year, and for so many! but it forced me to cook more/better, get my yard into some semblance of landscaped order, cut enough wood for the entire winter, save a small bankroll in fuel, worked/studied on my judges’ eye for my job with what I feel is SOME improvement, talked to more of my distant (mileage) friends more often, actually did more consistent/progressive work with my students even tho it is mostly on line atm….even managed to achieve my own upgrade in awards (was trying for several years but was still a surprize!) : ) I am grateful for my opportunities, and for my life as it is. I guess it is all in how one sees it, uses it. Many things we just have to do differently for now. Fingers and everything else crossed for those that genuinely suffer, this really HAS been one H of a year!

So, I’ll be a little boy forever!?!

For a month and a half back in the Spring, a radio station in Philadelphia played “I’ve Got You Babe” every morning at six o’clock.

That’s gotta be the first time that Rat has acknowledged that his abrasive comment may have gone a bit too far.
