Mrs. Campbell: “I KNEW I should have made Kevin complete his times tables, if there’d be a way to still keep him silent for the rest of the year… Miles, can you run through that speech again so I can take notes? I’m going to use this myself…”
This restaurant in my area had 2 single person restrooms, w/ floor to ceiling mirrors on walls!?Talk about creepy & unnerving….that’s the main reason ..I stopped dining there. :^|
This happened to us with the first issue of “Dyn-o-mite!” magazine, that had Jimmy “Dynomite” Walker (at the peak of his “Good Times” fame) on the cover holding the same magazine with is image. It almost seemed like one of those things you get when you hold a mirror in front of another mirror.
Infinity covers, for comics, pretty much got their start with EC in the 1950s. But the really outrageous example is in a movie: Mr. Belevedere Goes to College (1949). At graduation he is given a copy of Look magazine, which shows him graduating on the cover. So he poses with the cover, creating the picture that has already been used for the cover… Do I need to say the whole ending wasn’t taken too seriously?
When I was about Miles and Kevins age, and probably a little younger, I had an odd way of falling asleep. I used to love to think about outer space, infinity, and anything that would basically blow my mind, things I just couldn’t quite wrap my mind around. I would lie there in rapt awe and slide into dreamland. Yes, I was (am) a weird kid.

A fuse has blown. Better call the old man, he buys fuses by the gross and can change them quicker than a Jackrabbit on a date.

It’s too bad she doesn’t have a book cover picture that goes down to infinity.
