Tuna is gross. And just this morning on the news the famous Subway eateries got accused of not putting any type of tuna ingredient in their tuna flavored sandwiches
I can sympathize with Liz and Garfield ā my to-be mother-in-law (before my wife and I were married) used to make tuna with gravy and peas on toast. Think of chipped beef on toast (or SOS if you know it by that name), with tuna substituted for the beef. Yuck! I think she was trying to chase me off ā but it didnāt work. Wife and I just had our 48th anniversary! ;-)
Iām dropping into this classic cat jointe to avoid replying to āOld Man Riverā at āYaffleā ā¦. didnāt evn read his comment toward me. Might have been good and positive, but guess it was not. Now whereās the venison helper? TUNA #10 @ Jersey Mikeās is the BEST in my opinion, with Cousins subs and Subway not even close to Jimmy Johnās roast beef yet.
Hereās some Lecretia Garfield trivia: there is an Arbuckleās restaurant in Stevens Point, WI that SPASH panthers like to dine in because of their PIZZA, but Samās Pizza in Schofield offers a tuna pizza that is unique.
āSeasoned alley cats go where they want to go, keep the rodent population down, look for open doors, appreciate a good meal and have plenty of turf to choose from when itās purring time.ā - Milwaukee Riverside Tiger school visitor
As for me, I actually used to like tuna a lot, especially in barbecue sauce. However, I havenāt eaten it in recent years, because of all of the talk of how much Mercury it contains. And also, as for pizza, the only pizza places that I actually like are Pizza Hut, Dominoās Pizza, and Abbyās Pizza, while the only frozen pizza brand I will eat is Tonyās Pizza.

Of course, pizza!
Kaputnik about 4 years ago
An occasional tuna casserole helps you appreciate pizza when you do get it. And it isnāt necessarily that bad in itself.
BigDaveGlass about 4 years ago
Well Jon does faint at tomato sauce, I donāt know if any is in a tuna casserole, and Iām not going to find outā¦

Back in the days of no meat on Fridayās, tuna casserole was on my momās weekly rotation, versus fish sticks or shrimp if we were lucky. I miss it!

āFamousā? More like āinfamousā, knowing Jonās cooking. After all, as Garfield once said in the ā80s, this is a guy who could ruin cereal.

itās an acquired taste

If it were Grandma Arbuckleās famous tuna casserole instead of Jonās, then they would raise their hands.
