While visiting a different site… I found a fun quote -
“I stopped believing in Santa Claus when I was six. Mother took me to see him in a department store and he asked for my autograph.”― Shirley Temple Black
The same deliberate ignorance and failed understanding of the sciences also promotes other conspiracy theories, such as the hollow Earth, “chemtrails”, intergalactic shape shifting lizard people trying to take over planet, the non-existence of Australia, and so forth. And once the conspiracy conventions start up again, I’m sure that the anti-maskers and the COVID-19 deniers will have their own booths, since (from what I’ve heard) all kooky beliefs are welcome there.
And if you refuse to wear a face mask it might not matter as you might not be around anyway….I am sorry if I hurt your feelings when I called you stupid but I thought you already knew.
Trump Disciples all believe tax breaks for billionaires makes themselves richer.
They also believe that the election was stolen because of widespread undetectable voter fraud for which evidence does not exist. They believe states should be required to prove it didn’t happen.
They believe that Their Messiah is 6’ 3" and definitely not obese.
They hate shelter in place guidelines and partial lockdowns, and also year for Their Messiah to impose martial law.
They believe Hunter Biden is corrupt, but Jared, Eric, Don Jr., and Ivanka are not.
They believe that Their Messiah marrying a stripper shows what an alpha male he is.
They believe every one of The Messiah’s lies even those that contradict each other. Especially those.
I caught a repeat of the 1998 PBS documentary, on the 1918 Flu pandemic yesterday. They were arresting people who didn’t wear masks then. So in 1918, people had more common sense than we have now!
Everyone knows masks work and shutting down works. All we have to do is look at states like New York, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, and California. Then look at states like Florida where the state has not mandated masks and shut downs. Wait a minute, in the tyrannical states the numbers were going up even with the draconian steps. The states without the mandates are no worse than the ones that have them. But at least the masks work!
One Covidiot told me that masks are for keeping operating rooms sterile and not protecting anyone. HUH!?!! Mouth moves, brain shuts down. He said a doctor told him this. I assume Dr. Mengala.
After reading some of the anti-mask diatribes presented as serious information, the day is looking grim. I think I’ll just go and throw up just for fun.
Tinker Bell, the Tooth Fairy (not the Molar Marauder of the 1960’s / 70’s Radio Show), the Easter Bunny, Santa Clause. If you can believe in Trump, you have to believe in all of these.
ReTrumplicanism is based on wishful thinking: I want things to be the way I wish they were. If I like something, it’s real. If I don’t, I call it “fake news” and it does not exist.
ReTrumplicanism is for people who can’t handle reality. Some people do drugs, others do MAGA.
Wouldn’t the correlation be in NOT believing? So if you don’t believe in masks, you would not believe in Santa Claus. If you believe in Santa Claus then you would also believe in masks.
I wear a mask and when I’m out and about I see most everyone else is wearing a mask (certainly more than back in April) yet the number of cases continues to rise. Hmmm?
Didn’t Dr Fauci say that St Nick wouldn’t spread Coronavirus because he has an “innate immunity” to it? No need for face mask for him (and I assume) his reindeer, then.
