Is it advertised? Is there a selection process? Are there qualifications and a union?

I used to believe he was a decent man and great author also , until I read a lot of his work.

I read once that mongoose were introduced in sugar cane country (I don’t remember exactly where) to eliminate the poisonous Cane Toad (closely related to the Twain Frog). However, the mongoose decided that they didn’t like the job of eating two Cane Toads a day and decided to wander off and hunt more succulent prey. So does that make Kipling’s Riki Tiki Tavi smarter than Twain’s professional frog eater?

Frazz11 hrs · Not that having a thing for frogs necessarily has a contrary relationship to genius. The Genius Club, I get the impression, is not the place to go around looking for mental health. I’d sigh with relief about dodging a bullet, but I don’t get the impression that not being a genius, or even particularly bright, gets you off the hook.

I’m not sure where I fall on that spectrum and probably don’t want to know, but I will say that wherever I am, a little bit of neurosis now and then is not unwelcome. Sometimes it’s even helpful. And it’s always potential material.

Cute girl. I think Twain must’ve gotten a frog in his throat quite often.

Having a discussion about frogs with a little girl is quite different than the discussion with a little boy.

Answering her question is the first big frog of his day.

If you eat a frog first thing in the morning, nothing worse will happen to that frog either.
