What to call it: a vacation, a change of scenery, widening one’s horizon, meeting new people, exploring one’s options, making new friends, sampling all that life has to offer, taking an untraveled road, enrichment, enjoying diversity.
Ironically, at that however-long-ago reunion where Nicole invited Mike to have an affair with her, J.J. called THAT “adultery” (on Mike’s part) even thought all MIKE did was briefly contemplate the idea. Obviously, in the interim, she totally re-wrote her personal moral code (such as it is).
And then, the following year’s reunion, after Nicole had gained weight, she berated Mike (who had been reconsidering her offer in the interim) for his “shallowness” about same, going on the offensive before Mike had said a word, when all MIKE had done was have a relatively mild reaction upon seeing that she had gained weight. He stared a little and was briefly rendered speechless. It’s called “surprise,” Nicole. I’ll admit that, at worst, it could have been categorized as a bit rude, but is Ms. “Let’s Have an Extramarital Affair” Woman really in a position to be touchy? :-|
Mike was caught between two women to whom he was just never going to be good enough. Fortunately, he eventually found a metaphorical Door Number Three. Hopefully, when Mike and Kim’s wedding anniversary comes around every year, they send J.J. and Zeke a thank-you note. ;-)

Not only Mike, but also Merriam-Webster and Oxford English Dictionary and most religious texts are also calling it adultery.

Anyone who abandons their child is worthless. They have no redeeming qualities.

Do children enjoy childhood as much as adults enjoy adultery? Just askin’.

I need the Soap Opera Digest to keep up. How are these two acquainted? Because their husbands are fellow alumni who keep in touch?
