So never thought of this before, but if texting was a thing back when I was young, I probably would have had more of a dating life. Instead of spending 3 months building up the courage to ask a girl out (or actually never going through with it), I would have debated for a week or so before hitting the send button and then instantly sweated out the reply.

Just had a thought. Was it so important for the cop to find out how fast the GTO would go so that he’d know whether chasing him in the future was worth it?
