Wow, who is this cat who waited for three panels to “ask” Jon if he’s going to eat that donut? Garfield would have scarfed down that donut while Jon took his phone out!

I once was the secretary for a man who was a health nut. I had a folder in my drawer that was full of copies of Dunkin Donuts fat content of all of their baked goods. Every time someone brought donuts into the office, he’d have me put one of those copies up over the donuts (my desk was right next to our little coffee counter). So, I’d post the copy…and take a donut.

Garfield’s “belly” is actually smaller than his eyes. If THAT is how he looks when he is “fat“, then I wonder what he’d look like normal-sized: would they just draw his head and his legs without any body at all?

You can’t call Garfield a fat cat, it’s inappropriate in our woke Society. Try this He is a corpulent cat from his many years of privileged living. Much better.

Garfield’s proportions between head and body were quite different in the early years. He used to be a LOT fatter!

The reading for measuring fat in Garfield is probably as off the charts as measuring radiation around Chernobyl after the 1986 accident.

Honestly, Garfield isn’t that fat. A bit tubby, yes. But he isn’t that fat. I say that with sincerity.
