1 If it can’t fool Bozo in the dark, you might as well take it off anyhow or there’ll be hell toupee. (Hair—the Cowsills)
2That cop that keeps stopping by Bozo’s fruit stand drops by the hospital to see how his pal is feeling. Weak as he’s feeling,Bozo’s a real brick about it. (You Can’t Always Get What You Wanted—Rolling Stones)
3 I guess the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. (We Gotta Get Out Of This Place—The Animals)
1. You may be a bigwig but you got to does what Bozo say.
2. Well why not you joins me here pal and we can has all the conversation you wants. Not wants to talk much now eh. Heh heh.
3. Psst. Hey Richie Rich. Not you worries. Here’s the ticket for your freedom!
…
Just look at these wonderful wordless wonders above, envisioned and executed so brilliantly, would you even realise that this was around a month or so before FoXo succumbed to cancer? And with only eye too. What a splendid professional FoXo was, whose early death was a great loss to not only cartooning but to art itself, as he told his funny tales with his awesome artwork alone, without any of his characters in BOZO ever saying a single word.
An especially excellent epitome of pictures speaking thousand words, BOZO also the most pleasant picturesque pantomime where every panel is like a photograph of a three-dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was his powerful perspective artwork which brought to life a lovely lively world of BOZO!
FoXo a rare combination of both sharp wits and artistic talents which is rarely seen together in the same cartoonist, a true master and professional cartoonist whose work quality speaks for itself and as you can see for yourself BOZO is pure gold coming from a golden era of cartooning!
So no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even now.
But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.
Spread the word, friends, so that BOZO can spread more joy and cheer to many many more!
…
And yes, yes of course another big thumbs up, big applause, and three cheers once again for the marvellous master FoXo’s magnificent masterpiece, the most pleasant picturesque pantomime, the ever entertaining ever energetic ever enjoyable ever excellent evergreen entertainer, the brilliantly beautiful and beautifully brilliant BOZO!
It’s always the way….every time I went to a play, a tall, figgetity big person blocked my view, and the woman behind me had on a ghastly perfume that made me gag! I called and explained and they switched my seasons tickets to the other side of the theater and closer to the stage! ☺️
He didn’t have far to go to recuperate…ouch! ⭐️
Bozo doesn’t realize the boy isn’t jailed…awwwww☹️
1) I CAN’T SEE: Bozo at the movies a taller person in the way. First take off the hat, still can’t see. Then he takes off his hair for Bozo. The top of his head is still in the way!
2) QUIET!!!!: While in hospital Bozo’s next bed is noisily eating the fruit in the basket. Next scene the man is unconscious, and the fruit basket is near him and Bozo can relax finally!
3) HERE KID, HAVE A FILE: Running around on the sidewalk next to a huge mansion and black wrought iron fence is a boy looking like a prisoner. Bozo gives him his large file to get out of jail.
Not only is Fuzzy missing today but Bozo is missing as well. This is especially sad now that we are going into the final strips produced. A few weeks ago I mentioned the final panel shown in the “Whistling Down The Halls” book being very appropriate for what I then believed was Foxo’s final Bozo strip. I will be very upset if that particular strip ends up NOT being shown, and I hope that will not be the case. We all need to see and fully appreciate that one!

1 ‣ “Take it off! Take it all off!”
2 ‣ Bozo’s visitor met with an unfortunate accident while trying to be comforting!
3 ‣ Bozo is strong enough to spread those bars apart faster than using that file!

1) Bozo must’ve realized somebody sold the guy in front a really bad rug.
2) Maybe once Bozo gets really healthy, he’ll munch on the other guy’s basket!
3) I’ll help you escape, kid. Just make sure the maid’s not watching.

Looks like Ernie Bushmiller’s Sluggo Smith makes a guest appearance in panel 2. And actually jailboy is pretty on-model for Rollo/Marmaduke.

Seems that after eight months GoComics would have solved the problem. Only five more days before reruns begin.

In strip #1, the cinema lover with a neck and spine capable of 180-degree turns in panels #1 and #3 is an interesting comic-strip trick.
