Some MLB team could use his pitching. His hitting not so much.

There is a solution to everything.

Calvin’s a real problem solver! Though a lot of time he’s on the other end of the situation.

Step 2: Replace bat with tennis racket.

The Rockies might give Calvin a contract. They are off to a rough start.

That’s it Calvin, change the rules to suit your game!

If at first you don’t succeed, then redefine the parameters of success, and keep doing so until you succeed.

Politicians know this as do CEO’s.

It’s how they argue for re-election or massive bonuses despite repeated failure.

That would make things easier but it wouldn’t be regulation in official games.

Calvin would notice a great improvement if he opened his eyes when swinging.

I guess that’s called starting big and working your way down.

A little bit of helium in the beach ball might also work to his advantage.

Coincidentally I was in a box store yesterday and saw a big beach ball in my favorite colors; ended up being the only thing I bought. Was really fun bouncing it around my house. I’m 66.

Baseballs are fun, but for real distance hitting, go with golf balls. ‘’Pow! That baby’s gone!’’

Partly fill it with helium. Much greater delay before it hits the ground, easy hits.

If he closes his eyes again, he’ll miss the beach ball too.

Well… it will be easier to hit, but I don’t think Calvin’s going to be pleased with the lack of range

Next he’ll try a bigger bat. A cricket bat would be just the thing for beach balls. :)

Now we’ll find out if the phrase: “couldn’t hit a beach ball if it was lobbed underhanded” still holds up.

You know what would be fun to hit, Calvin? Eggs. Especially if you are close to Susie when you try it.

By gravitational laws the bigger ball will also take same time to reach down and Calvin is gonna miss again.

That was (and still is) me. I don’t seem to have the coordination to throw a ball up in the air and hit it.
