The Lyrids aren’t due until mid to late April but they’re expected to give us almost 20 meteors an hour. You just have to get out sometime after midnight when Lyra rises in the East.

Television is pure garbage… People talk about the tripe, and I am so glad I kicked that out the door. I haven’t watched TV in 10 years.

Mother Nature (by the hand of GOD) puts on the best show, anyway!

We have good sunrises at this house, but never see the sunset.

The “stars” are not shinning on TV so they went outside to see them.

If Andy or Raymond didn’t say it, I don’t want to hear it.

As one ages TV becomes less relevant.

If you have a lot of time on your hands, TV can be a comfort. Otherwise, not so much.

That’s the way I feel every time I turn on the TV anymore. Outdoors is far more interesting especially with my dogs.

I do not find sitting outdoors on my deck after dark in -5C weather to be enjoyable.

I like this. Life isn’t always funny, though it often seems like a joke. There are times life is a joyful moment that we participate in.

Interesting juxtaposition – a comic strip using no words tells us much about the value of TV. While TV, of course uses lots of words. Lots and lots and lots of words. Many times, words that won’t be found in comic strips. So many lessons in here…

I like the night sky. And I live in a town that brags that it gets over 300 days of sunshine a year… but somehow, if there is a meteor shower or a comet, it is ALWAYS cloudy that night…

Panel 3 quite well sums up most of TV for us. We dropped TV part of our internet/TV package in December. Have not missed TV programs at all, and we do not stream.

I love days like that. Minimum words maximum joy.

A warm, starry night beats anything on TV, every time.

They are appalled at the news. (so many shootings) So they go back out to nature.

We stayed outside last week and enjoyed watching the fireflies in the evening. I am easy to entertain.
