Early zoomies?

Even after all this practice, cats remain much better at zooming than humans will ever be.

I refer to my Russian Blue as a zoomin’ being.

I see Beatrix, Tabitha, Sir Fig, and Tommy is in his bee costume, but where is Sophie? I hope she’s preparing a grand entrance!

This is not my favorite topic. And, based on the low comment response, I guess not too many people like it too much. But, I may be wrong.

For those of you just tuning in, Danhausen is an ROH wrestler. ROH is a smaller competitor to WWE, whose WrestleMania is the nominal occasion for this week’s plot. Can’t imagine many people recognizing him (I didn’t).

Georgia knows her wrasslin’! I don’t but I get a kick out of the cats performances and also hope Sophie returns as The Great Unknown.

And the eternal battle of wills begins again…

It just occurred to me why BCN might be doing a wrestling arc this week as Wrestlemania 37 is going to happen in Tampa next weekend.

A lot of people are coming into to town from other areas just like the Super Bowl but with capacity for the event capped at 25K hopefully this will not result in a COVID spike for anyone! Personally I am a bit more concerned about the ecological disaster that might be on the verge of hitting Tampa Bay, this by-product of phosphate production is pretty nasty stuff and should have been dealt with decades ago:

My dad loved to watch the wrestling on TV and when I was little, I’d watch with him. Tastes change and I grew away from it, but when he was staying with us for a time, I came out of the bedroom one morning and our youngest daughter, Thing 2, was sitting there watching with him. Memories…

My Ozzy and Inky must be thinking about auditioning for BCW, they’ve been “practicing” lately. And leaving tufts of their black fur all over.

The sophisticated cat is into SUMO, the Japanese art of wrestling.

Mine got into it watching Japanese TV and hearing the commentator describe two oshi-zumo wrestlers as ‘going at each other like two mad tabbies’, Daieisho and Takakeisho that was.

The cats, front paws outstretched and hitting madly are Tiger and Schnurri, Tiger a little unstable with only one hindleg to sit on. He falls over and then moves to beltless grabbing yotsu-zumo.

On a serious note, 15-year-old Henry has been diagnosed with renal failure. Still eats reasonably well, no wait loss, does not give me problems taking his meds. If you have any advice… consoling purrs and headbumps also welcome.

Kinda looks like Goldie is channeling Rowdy Roddy Piper. I think she is wearing a kilt.
