Does this guy really think having a few more computers at a library is what is using up all his tax money?

My wife is a special needs teacher in a dirt poor district, and this is exactly the case. The local library has just six public computers (it’s cramped as hell, and the town’s been bickering about expansion for the better part of twenty years), and from the moment school’s out, they’re all booked up solid.

Abel Brito (doing a Tom Selleck impersonation) opens his mouth again long enough to change feet. He should focus on his lawn care business, what is he doing in the Library anyway…perving out on the young girls?

P2 Zane(y) as equally annoyed as most GT readers, prepares to lunge across the table to choke the s**t out of Abe Burreto to shut his whiney trap for good

P3 Zane(y) reminds indignant Abe about one of the most important functions of libraries, providing access to knowledge and information to those who wouldn’t otherwise have it

P2 – That’s one big, flat onion on Zane’s plate.

As one who lived in the research stacks of the Newark Public Library main branch for 10 years [4 high school, 4 university 2 grad school] in the era before there were personal computers; I am a big fan of keeping library doors open and librarians working.

Evel Knievel often got ramped up. I have a feeling Abel Knievel’s library obsession may crash like Evel often did

P1- Abel is a master dinner conversationalist…..barely.

P2 & P3- Zane could use an emergency makeover at The Ted Pearce School of Hair Design.

Mr B wonders why is my daughter going out with this loser who can’t afford cable? Doesn’t Knox Folely have any younger brothers?

P1, The new and improved Mrs. Brito is getting awfully tired of listening to Gomez go on about the library computers.

P2, So, Insane Zane is a vegetarian? Onions, green beans and rice. Yum.

P3, Why would you need cable? Just get the internet and you won’t have to use the library anymore. And if you want to watch TV, get an antenna. There’s plenty of free streaming options, too.

In all reality , Look kid sorry to here about your family situation , I gotta job for you . You drive to Central City pick up a package meet me back at the library and give it to me. $250 a trip ,whata ya say ? HELL Yes, thanks Mr B.

Gotta say: I’m liking the color.

P 4: “….and when I need a change of scenery from Kay here, I can’t ever get to the computer so I have to dig in to this box of old magazines that my dad has hidden in the basement…luckily, he doesn’t know that I found it…”

So, does this arc play out with Mr Burrito running for the library board, and younker Zane running against him, for the win?

Considering the lack of success he had in his first head coaching job, Tom Cable would make an affordable hire to any football program.

Mrs B. looks ready to put a fork in the old man. What a crank! You gotta give a kid props for speaking up at his first dinner at the girlfriend’s house. At our house my daughter would be yelling at dad by now.

Will Able survive this meal? Barely. Will Able qualify for unemployment? Barely. With all of his whining, will Able continue to share a bed with his wife? Barely Able.

This guy has been ranting daily for like a week, because the library has too many computers available. This guy is definitely going to be joining Zane’s dad soon in Stroke Town. And what exactly is the purple food? Whatever it is, I wouldn’t touch it.

Forgive me – we need a program. Is Zane the son of the guy who just resigned from the library board in order to move the family for a better job? As if Gruff Dad isn’t enough of an obstacle, now we’re going to have the breakup.
