She ought to be able to do better than those examples. Those are just prefaces to the true drivel. Like “leveraging the synergies of our combined operations.”

“Skate to where the puck will be.”

“Low hanging fruit.”“110%”

and my favorite

“Good job, Joe!”…..“Eh, I’m Frank.”

“Yay – the ‘Word Police’.”

Add paradigm and synergy to that list…

Who’s up for some thinking outside the box?

i hope her best practice is robustly scalable…

Make all the fun you want, but the position is truly needed.

Gawd I hated that crap. Happily retired.

Today, all the politicians say,“We’re all in this together. But, there’s light at the end of the tunnel”. It’s tiring.

Just promoted from marketing after the last great ad campaign.

I remember some blather about tent poles. And Motorola’s mantra “Make it happen”.

I guess he got the job after all.

Avoid clichés like the plague!

“Let me be clear…” If you watch any news channel, you’ll hear this multiple times a day.

“Mondays, am I right?”

How about “Let me circle around to it?”

Sad that it’s a joke because it’s actually real in this day and age…..

Isn’t drivelalia a protected condition in the corporate world?

Over half of our management would be gone.

This should be a mandatory position. People with poor vocabulary skills just pick up the jargon – some places it’s swear words, other places it’s “empowerment”, “optimization”, “ownership”… (until you want to use the swear words).

If you eliminate drivel from speech, politicians would have nothing to say. Hey that’s not a bad idea!

Would love to see it happen, but I won’t be holding my breath.

Lately they all want to “unpack that.”

Let’s qualitize our paradigm so we don’t over inundate on datums.

The room must be full of managers. Workers aren’t the guilty ones.

Basically, when all is said and done, at the end of the day it is what it is: much talk and little do.

There’s no way that questions was chosen carelessly.

This is “low-hanging fruit.” Drivel-alia is indicative only of a certain type of incompetent manager. It’s good to get rid of them, but don’t think for a moment the job is done.

“Conversation” used instead of discussion.
