Ah, those bell-bottom blues are back.

Well, everything old is new again.

The 70s had the best music, though.

What goes around comes around in many forms.

Well, I’d love a pair of bell bottoms, but no. There are air pockets in the supply chain. When everything works through the shortages will subside and prices will return to normal. The danger is that hysteria from voices like Stantis will change the psychology and require drastic steps like Volker had to take.

It’s kind of dishonest to yell about prices being “up, up, up” without acknowledging they were down, down, down last year. But then, for all his happytalk about being kind and wise, Stantis is fundamentally dishonest.

Elephant bell bottom trousers would not be so bad if that was the only thing from the 70s showing up. People are beginning to get the consequences of the choices made by the politicians they voted for for years and years. Who didn’t see that at some point with all the money being printed that inflation wouldn’t show up? Are people unable to look around at various other countries and see how well that printing money and handing it out like candy has worked? It is most every time inflation.

I want my button fly bell-bottom jeans back, then! Oh, and my 28" waist and helmet hair, please.

Is Carmen the same size as one of the Keane melonheads?

Ostensibly, Carmen is too young to remember the Seventies.

But then she’d be too young to vote for President, which she’s done in every election.

The rules are different for cartoon characters.

I see I’m involuntarily having to live reruns of Jimmy Carter’s presidency, so I’m looking forward to the emergence of a new Ronald Reagan!

If the seventies were back, we’d have massive stagflation with no jobs instead of today’s minor inflation and more jobs than workers…
