That seems about right. But it’s probably more like “Now that we’ve got all of these mosquitos trapped … let’s go out there so that at least these mosquitos can’t get to us.”
I live in Africa for two years and I had to sleep under mosquito netting. Sometimes at night I could hear mosquitos buzzing around but I could never tell whether they were inside the netting or out. It used to bug the hell out of me.
For just a short time I thot I was looking at a Frazz instead of a Frank and Ernest and was thinking that finally our boy and Miss Plainwell were able to get it on, even if they had to travel hundreds of miles to get away from that pesky little kid who keeps following them everywhere. But no.

Pretty sure you’re not supposed to leave a roaring campfire unattended while you wage battle with what will turn out to be a few mosquitoes.

Interesting use of the photo in the background. I have to wonder what it looks like in the printed B&W version in the newspaper though.

We tent camped decades ago. Whenever there was a camper in the area with bright lights, they got the mosquitoes. And we appreciated it.

I know that feeling but it won’t change the outcome by moving…..

I never have mosquitos around me – probably the result of my mom saturating me with OFF as a kid :-/
