Looks like “goggles guy” is on the payroll as a “card” player.

If it weren’t for the puff of smoke around his hand, I would assume that Diet Smith was somewhat unhappy with the interview.

Am I allowed to ask about that curved line on Sam’s face?

Hopefully, Briar Rose will attempt to escape, there will be a highly unlikely accident and she’ll be transported into the past. Then next week the strip changes completely.

1-DT: That Suki chick is two-timing me with Doit Toit! I’d give her a smack in the kisser if my arthur-itis wasn’t actin’ up.

The pins are beginning to tumble, one way or the other. Too sweet for her own good, phony reporter Briar Rose is not leaving Smith Industries but rather is going to detention, escorted by a couple of the—I know this sounds bad, but it is accurate—SS brownshirts [Smith Security uniforms are unfortunate].

Meanwhile, Sterling Eliot has arrived on the scene as Goggles and the lab lady leave, ready for another nefarious nightshift of Time Drone tampering. Is he hiding something in/under that newspaper, or is it just a casual prop?

Will Sam and Tracy arrive in time to mop up, or will they stall out with the mysterious Ms. Rose and miss Sterling’s skullduggery, thus allowing the story to spin on at a more satisfying pace, with more complete climax?

Cleaning up is exactly what Sterling Eliot has in mind.
