Good morning™, everyone!

Well, amazingly, we have names of all the victims now, even of the security guards, and it looks to me like did not actually met those guards in the story. Sterling did nothing suspicious in the minds of the detectives. Finding Briar Rose is the next step to solving the case.

Avenger09 probably really likes the images on the pole monitor and the computer screen in panel 3, because they are identical to those of the first two frames, but today’s strip for me is why I don’t like it done that way. When those images are shrunk down for the third panel, with all their little details, the lines become very fine and, to me, they look a little out of place, like they don’t match the rest of the line work in the third panel, but it’s a matter of preference. (The colour does make up for the weak ink lines, though.) Nevertheless, the quality of the drawing is still excellent, in my view.

I like Lizz’ hairstyle. I would love to see more of her in the strip.

Max Grier looks like an Annie character. Look at his eyes.

I wonder, when they found Eliot’s remains, just how much they had to work with? Did his ID survive? And it takes a while to check someone’s DNA or dental records.

Hatless Sam’s hair looks smooth here. Isn’t it supposed to be curlier?

Too bad Briar Rose is a bad apple, attractive, but the cigar kind of ruined my impression of her!

As this story unfolds in slow real time fashion I get it can be frustrating. The Apparatus is STILL way ahead of team Tracy,because the police haven’t gotten the lead they need yet.What seems obvious to us is still a mystery because the pieces haven’t fit together. With Eliot dead, and no reason to check him out looks like next week will be more of the slog.

WOW! , the beautiful lady in the second panel is sweet and those beautiful eyes . And I miss Sams cool hat .

They found Eliot’s remains. So much for the “Lost In Time” theory.

Is Tracy wearing his yellow trench coat in panel#3?

Fortunately, Sterling had one of his neighbors pet-sitting his extensive collection of scarves, so at least they’ll be taken care of in the wake of his death.

Max Grier looks like he was born in Little Orphan Annie and got a work visa to be in this strip.

Does anyone know why the monitors showing the photos are always peanut-shaped? Is there an actual device they are modeled after?

It sounds like they are suspecting sabotage as the cause of the time drone explosion. Wasn’t Sterling Eliot trying to access the future? And weren’t Diet Smith’s people already having problems with that? It now sounds like someone – or something – traveled from the future to 2021 in order to prevent the further use of time travel!

I’m liking Shelley’s take on the characters, they look… “livelier”

In the last panel, I like the view of Dick Tracy. He looks very astute.

1-SAM: OK, I’m gonna say, left to right, Norwegian, Swedish and Inuit.

2-DOLL: We gotta stop playing Guess The Nationality/Ethnicity Game now and get back on the Smith Industries investigation.

3-DT: Awh, stop being a worry wart, Doll. I got it all figured out. It was a gas leak that exploded when Doit lit his Calmgar (patent pending) Ok, so my turn. I’ll go with Sam’s first two but change the third to “Floridian”.

DOLL: “Floridian” isn’t a nationality…

DT: It will be when DeSantis secedes from the Union.

SAM: Hmmm. I better apply for a Passport now then – I like South Beach and The Keys!

DT: Are you trying to tell us something, bachelor boy?

avenger09 just enlarge the 3rd panel on your computer and you will see all those ink lines you are so very worried about. The artist on these strips are awesome

The MCU skull session is helping to clarify what can be done, and must be done, and to prioritize steps. Lizz and Sam both contribute, and boss Tracy collates. As they used to say on The A-Team (a.k.a. the team that couldn’t shoot straight), I love it when a plan comes together. The MCU has their legwork and computer research set….

I went back and looked – Sam hasn’t been seen with a toothpick since October 1.

The finger of suspicion is now on Sterling Eliot.
