Sure, Biden directly controls inflation and gas prices – and is making them both rise on purpose and to punish citizens… odd how GQPs want the government to keep its hands off business practices, but also expect the government to tamp down the prices that businesses charge…

Biden has out-Cartered Carter in less than a year. The good news, I suppose, is that he has 3 years (maybe) to do better.

i would also like to remind everyone that US gasoline prices are artificially low, especially when compared to other countries.

Want cheaper gas? Drive less.

I see today’s comic is an unintended compliment.

There are definitely some parallels. In both the Carter and Biden years, the country was going through hard times while having a much more intelligent, honest and hard working President in office than the one they replaced. And in both cases, way too many people found it easier to just blame the President for everything.

Lets hope the future is different though, I really, REALLY don’t want to see the next Reagan.

A gallon of gas was $4.02 and inflation was 4.8% during “Jimmy” Bush’s 8th year in office and $2.70 gas and 2% inflation during Obama’s 8th year.

Ariail presumably knows that gas prices are part of the way inflation is measured. <begin sarcasm>And surely knows that the current administration is totally responsible for causing any problem, IF AND ONLY IF it’s a Democrat in the hot seat<end sarcasm>

Inflation is also correlated to Trump’s sending everyone checks so he could put his name on it. But I am sure you guys have forgotten about that giveaway.

So people somehow think that the president of the USA somehow controls the global price of oil when we are actually a small player in the market. Sounds like some RWNJ Q stuff to me.

Puppet Biden is destroying America’s economy; but that’s alright with Marxist Disciple Democrats, they wouldn’t want to have it any other way.

The president manages neither of those things.

Funny thing is, it’s worse most other places. Check the gas and supply issues in Europe or Asia.

Had tRump acted two years ago this month when he was first briefed on COVID-19, the entire world might not be experiencing gas hikes, shortages and inflation.

It’s always nice to blame a president for things he has no control over.

Who didn’t know this was coming no matter who is the “Resident” ? Needs one more graph for rising temps.

Isn’t it just amazing how the US economy mostly collapsed in 2020, and now that things are looking up again, people are freaking the fuck out about the processes that are natural outgrowths of that economic rise, and pretending there is something tangible that can be done NOW to change the process.
