It’s giving me happy tears to see Lupin continuing to be his glorious self in the comics, forever. He must be loving it.

Oh, shut up, Goldie!! Lupin is right. Just because it should be a community tower doesn’t mean you have to all be on it at the same time. Just that everyone should be able to use it. So go do something else now, like stealing, oops, I mean borrowing stuff that doesn’t belong to you.

I’m fairly sure that this turn of events will not have the most felicitous of outcomes.

And I say, keep talking Goldie. You’re building a strong case! She’s not talking about everyone being on the tower at the same time. She’s talking about TWO cats being allowed communally at the same time. Let me guess . . . Lupin’s not too keen on Goldie sharing the tower with him???

That’s quite the glare you’ve got, Lupin! Elvis has taught you well.

Poor Lupin! I just love his “You. Stay. OUT. Of. This.” glare at Goldie. Poor guy, trying to defend his friend who is forbidden from EVER climbing the cat tower only to have his roommates bring up those TOTALLY different squabbles over who gets the Good Seat wherever that happens to be today. It’s not like he expects Sophie to share at the same time she’s in the cat tower, she just has to let Tommy climb it at SOME point! Unlike Goldie, who is Forbidden from being in the cat tower at the same time as Lupin. Which is only right, and TOTALLY DIFFERENT.

Really. Some cats have no concept of nuance, do they, Lupin?

Sarcasm challenge accepted! Righteousness isn’t fun when it’s on the other paw, eh, Lupin?

We were seeing a different side of Sophie as she took over the tower (although poor Tommy seemed rather nonplussed by the whole thing). Of course Lupin’s schooling of her for not sharing with Tommy would backfire on him.

I had to wait until today to comment. My avatar is my Beautiful Blue Eyed Boy Oberon.He left a few years ago but he was very Lupin-like in behavior and attitude. Lupin’s antics in BCN have given much joy and solace.Fortunately he will continue to do so.Many thanks, Georgia.

Tip Toe, to the Tower- I’ll stay an hour, and hiss and spit at anybody, who dare comes near me! Tip Toe, to the Tower- take a sunbeam shower- throw up, all my toe beans, and listen for all Sqeeeeeeing!

They need a tower schedule. Oh wait, organized cats….. Maybe not

So let me get this correct … you’re all in agreement that Sophie has the right to deny Tommy the use of the cat tower? That’s where this discussion started, after all.

When I was very small, we had a white cat called Tinker-Bell. An all-white male cat that knocked over EVERYTHING and even broke a window with a lamp. Oberon, above, sounds like a rascal and Lupin…well, Lupin was a force of nature. I wonder about the color/markings of a cat and personality. I have two black cats now, Belle and Hamilton, and they are both curious and mellow, almost exactly alike in cattitude. Granted, a sample size of two or three cats is an abysmal statistic. However, I wonder if the color of the cat is an indicator of personality?

But you know, admittedly, I had actually kind of forgotten about their little rivalry, so they must’ve already been getting better about it before now. I suppose this can serve as a good step towards finalizing it.

While some cats are very territorial, in actual practice they control a territory for limited periods of time, with other cats passing through, hunting, etc. at other times. When I stayed at a bed and breakfast place in Fort Bragg, CA for a week, my cat Kirby established his own territory. Between 7:08 and 8:45 am, he was absolute master of the corner of the roof outside our window overlooking the river. :)

Depending on the time of day our tower would have different tenets at the various levels. Now that we have moved we have purchased a second tower. Now everybody can have a place any time of the day, but the new tower seems to be used by those who do not have a reservation for the old. And when it’s their time, they will move from the new to the old and those in the old will move to the new. Yes, I have too much time on my hands.

On Wednesday afternoon, Reboot escaped and didn’t come back in until sometime Thursday morning. Jora told me he was having trouble using the litter box yesterday afternoon which makes us wonder just what he got into while he was out on his adventure.

And Update went in on Monday to get her Feline Replicating Module uninstalled and have a microchip installed. I thought the tech was going to lose it when I told her that that was what she was in for so after the surgery, she texted me that “Update’s Duplication software has been reprogrammed and that she was currently in sleep mode but should be ready for pick-up that afternoon.”

Any wonder why I just love my VET?

LucyLu only has a 2 platform tower. When the boys came their 7 foot multi platform came with them. LucyLu declared it hers and ran them off. The black panther finally showed her who was boss of the tower.

I’ve seen the ears down look before. Watch out Goldie!
