I actually pulled that joke on a hospital staffer, after my roommate was transferred to another hospital. I was that close to death….from her.

In this day of Covid, I suppose I should say that about my son. He bought a condo and moved out from his former place of residence.

but so tall in height , you can hear the angels sing. That is what I dream of being in a condo with no house maintenance surely would be heavenly to be.

If it really is a better place, why does everyone put so much money and effort into not going there?

When I die, after my useful organs have been harvested (but not my eyes) I want to be cremated and scattered in the ocean. Then my family can I say I swim with the fishes. Or rather float among them. Or whatever. I’ll be dead, so what do I care?

Someone I see every now and then has or had a 107 year old mother in a nursing home. When I see her after an interval of a few weeks, I never know whether to ask “how’s your mother doing?”

What Pig didn’t say, was that the condo is in Forrest Lawn.

She has passed. She has one of those class 1 diesel bus mobile homes with a 1200 horse turbocharged engine. She can pass anything except a truck stop.
