It looks like I need to go to Harbor Freight.

At first, I thought I was in the local bait and tackle shop. Give me a whatziz.

LOVE those drawer pulls!!

Some of those tools are wicked cool. The screwdrivers are screwy, the bike horn hammer, and the fish handles, and don’t forget the pics of Chesney from Ten Cats!

Is that a power whisk?

Maybe it is like a Tardis — bigger on the inside. Or like the Weasley’s tent in the Harry Potter movies.

My inquiring mind wants to know how much time is spent creating a detailed strip like this. :o

A hanging fluorescent light is not a good place to put a dumbbell.

My breakfast burned while I was enjoying the workshop. I’d think “that wrench is the best EVER” and then see the dinosaur vice next to it and then….

Reminds me a LOT of my Grandpop’s workbench in the basement, down to the vise clamp on the side of the bench, and the bicycle wheel hanging overhead..

The shed must be a TARDIS. It’s a lot bigger inside than what it appears in panel one.

Ack! On my first look I completely missed the seagull, in BOTH panels! Guess there’s just so much to look at, I wanted to savor the details and then there he was. Good stuff.

I am going to need a bit of help today, fellow Wallace fans. I have looked everywhere, even zoomed it up, but I cannot find Will’s signature today!

Because I kinda want that crazy wrench. Not to actually use it—just to say that I actually have one. :P

Nice details of the shop. BYTW- if you need one thingamabob you need two. And since your jar of thingamabobs in out of sight in a drawer, you might as well head to the old fashioned hardware store for the first of at least three trips. Wallace will love the free popcorn in tiny bags each time.

Trying to figure out what Wallace broke. Maybe a doojigger?

No electric hammers? Or left handed screw drivers? Not much of a handy-man…

Honestly? I think you just need a jar of glue for this.

Don’t you know Mr. Henry had a blast drawing all that!

I can’t imagine what some of those tools do. I just know I need them in my shop.

Hmmm… Actually, I think I think this job might call for a whachamacallit.

SO many incredible small details. I noticed that the last few dailies had less background than usual and had a hunch extra time was being spent on something majestic like this. Gloriously wonderful, Will Henry!!

I’m over here laughing until I can barely breathe, and I’m pretty sure my late father the industrial arts teacher is spinning in his grave!

I would like a wrench like that.

My dad’s bench was under the open cellar steps. Every step had multiple jars with the lids screwed to the steps to hold odds and ends like those in front of Wallace in the main panel.

I like the all-angles miter measure thing.

I think I see a gnarly pizza cutter up there.

I love the six way combo-wrench. I wonder if Harbor Freight stocks them.

Historic names for tools. Thingamajig, whatchamacallit, doohickey, thingamabob, whatsit, that ‘thing’, and ‘no, the other thing’.

I find myself admiring the attention to detail in this drawing. It’s like a Where’s Waldo? but for thingamagicks and whatsits.
