Strange – on the 8th (two days ago), it showed Luann cutting parts off the card. Now, it is intact again…

Luann has really sunk low and it’s pathetic and sad.

I feel like this will lead to embarrassment for Luann.

I don’t remember if I ever saw this storyline before or if I did and just blocked it out of my memory out of cringe.

Notice how Luann has not changed her appearance from high school. Most young women would at least get a new haircut.

I miss Delta. They should bring her back.

This story takes place over two decades ago, but one would still have to ask “Why didn’t Luann just Give Gunther her card instead of expecting one from him first?”

The nice thing about flashbacks is you don’t have to wait to learn how they come out. *Spoiler alert* Greg left this arc sort of awkwardly up in the air.

Delta? Nice to see her. By now she is going to Howard Law School year one, on her way to running for Congress back in district where Pittsville is located. Anyway this shows how dependent and quixotic Lu’s romantic life was back in high (or middle) school. Also, don’t get on Gunther too tough, to me he has always been a bit on the autism spectrum, although I do not claim expert knowledge so back off trolls! It took a hot, aggressive girlfriend to draw him out of that tendency, although he was growing out of it. I know this leads up to Valentine’s Day, but in terms of the strip generally where does it lead to? Why, how, classic misdirection play. Waiting.

this can only backfire; Luann will find herself in much deeper trouble that she feels now. I keep thinking about the connection between how she felt then and how she might still feel now. But Gunther has a very significant other (thanks to Luann encouraging him to explore online dating) and it’s not Luann.

This is what I see after so many days with no internet? Actually, I don’t mind it. Reminds me of my yewt.

Lately, they have been making Luann look like a dolt. Now, they bring something from the past to augment their agenda.

The late Louie Anderson had his own TV show for a brief moment, and he described it as a real comedy, not one of those “hey kids, how’d this tractor get in the living room” kind of shows.

On the 8th, Luann was using others with her right hand. Today we see her writing with her left hand. Interesting.

We’re back in a time when Luann and Gunther were EQUALLY insecure about “date night”.
