Ape needs a new ride :)

Good morning™, everyone!

Yeti is not going to take the bad news well, so they’d better continue with the hopes of finding some good news. Do you suppose that the next person on the list is alive and well?

Ferret is the brains of this duo, such as it is.

I really like making that first panel extra-wide. You get a nice, exciting close-up of Ferret and Ape. It’s almost like you’re in the car with them which does a lot to heighten the tension. So, Moran would be the third mob boss killed since the newspaper headline that had Yeti so worried talked about a second capo murdered. And now we know for certain that Ferret didn’t have anything to do with it the way she’s freaking out. At this point, it seems our mysterious assassin is way better at their job than Tracy is at his.

Ferret is obviously distressed as she is waaay too close to the car ahead and at that speed. A quick stab on its brakes and they wont need to worry about Yeti. Ape seems to be getting bigger by the day. I think his “Hulk” is kicking in. Ferret wont like him when he’s angry, something he has yet to do.

These two aren’t the brightest bulbs in Tracyville, are they???

Ape’s arms are much larger and thicker then previously shown. Must be steroids!

On Sunday I said very nice things about the strip and not one person commented.

Yesterday I said negative things and multiple people posted.

“I see your true colors shining through!”

“you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall!”

Ferret is a terrible tailgater!

Probably the drone saw both.

Ape is going to have a bad neck and back if he’s in that car much longer.

Ape is correct. They don’t know if Moran is dead or the police were there to arrest him. Either is bad for them. Yeti and crew may actually be marginal in the story arc. Who is killing Yeti’s customers? Why are they killing the customers? And where did they get the list of Yeti’s customers?

Dare I suggest… Daisy recovered after being abandoned in the sewer and has a score to settle?

I should really avoid jokes. Woke at 2am and had a fully plotted storyline for A.C. ‘Battery" Low and his brother D.C. As mentioned briefly. Battery is a draggy, non-energetic type. D.C. is hyper and talks in rushed run-on sentences. Oh, and he’s a used car dealer, so I leave it to you WHO’S the worse criminal of the par. And that had nothing to do with my once buying a car, getting it on the highway, and finding the dealership had forgotten to reattach ‘stabilizer bars’. I mean, the wildly swerving trip back to town was the thing dreams are made of.

She is no fool, this tenacious little Ferret. Returning to Yeti with bad news about Moran, and no news about the next name on the list would be suicide. Best to step on it and ascertain the health of crime boss number four. Ape is at a loss, which is he default setting. Ferret negotiates traffic, even as Tracy is likely viewing the drone footage that reveals their brightly colored car approaching the Moran estate. Ape may come in handy yet, but only if they catch the killer.

Head for the border and ask for asylum from the Sinaloa gang, or which ever one you encounter first.

The problem is…I see “Ferret”…and I think “Squirrel Girl”…

APE: NO! I don’t wanna find out if French car air bags are really filled with cigarette smoke!

FERRET: Those deployed six crashes ago so no worries. And yes. Yes they were.

….that pair are increasingly reminding me of the Looney Toons “Spike and Chester” cartoon………..

“We keep at it” I suppose this means she and Ape are going to continue their search to find out how many “clients/customers” Yeti has left.

I’d suggest y’all keep driving until you’re in another comic strip.

I feel kinda bad for Ape, all crammed into that little car!

So, mob bosses in TracyVille outsource their security to some outfit that doesn’t even provide bodyguards? This storyline doesn’t really make sense, does it?

Ape barely fits into Ferret’s sub-compact car (which looks like it might be a Kia). In any case, she rightly fears that the Death Epidemic striking down gang bosses might mutate into an angered Ace of Spades who would put a hit on her and Ape! No one is safe these days!

But who is the Mystery Assassin (thought for now to be a woman)? Someone we’ve met before, or someone new?
