Dad needs to do a better job appealing to the pesky kids voter base if he wants to win this election.

4. commandment mostly helped me! You shall honour your parents, that mostly helped!

What Calvin really means is that he wants to be the only one with character. This house ain’t big enough for two characters.

I’d say Dad IS a character!!

Reminds me of my (late) uncle who would threaten to “resign from your parenthood” his kids. It ended up being a running joke (as he intended) when everyone started threatening everyone else with “resignation”. Only my sainted Aunt was exempt from it, as she was already resigned to the lunacy of her husband and her two rather cantankerous kids.

Well, somebody thinks highly of himself…

He’s sitting so that’s only about waist high when standing.

He’s holding that flaw pretty much in check at the moment, but as a throwaway threat, it works for me. :D

HA! The Count called it yesterday about Dad’s poll number being down. Cheer up, Dad. Your poll numbers are nowhere near as miserable as Let’s Go Brandon’s and the reasons for his are far more dire than yours. Come on, Sr Tech and the other Libbots, earn your keep at the Ministry of Truth.

Two flaws. The first was wanting to have a kid in the first place. Wait, make it three. He HAD the kid.

Preternatural….a new word for me, so I had to look it up. I’ve learned something today so I can now go back to bed. Haven’t even finished my first cup of coffee. It’s a good day!

I wouldn´t class an intolerance of pesky kids as a flaw, more of a survival trait.

Preternatural, so that’s where Calvin gets his vocabulary.

Dad doesn’t look concerned.

Hey Dad, maybe take your nose out of your book for 20 seconds and play with your kid. Y’all wonder why he does some of the things he does. But how many times do you actually see his parents playing with him? They either ignore him or throw him out of the house.

Actually Dad is a character.

“Preternatural”? I wonder if he meant paternal-natural? …could be.

The only character Dad can ever be is a cartoon character.

Dad is starting to sound like a Scooby Doo villain – “I’d have got away with it if it wasn’t for those pesky meddling kids.”

Calvin’s Dad has more character than all the characters in “Coronation Street”.

Well, what can we expect from a guy that constantly believes misery builds character?

Calvin doesn’t realize during all his polling that Dad has the exact same position as him: Dictator-For-Life.

Still funny after the first many years ago!

I love Calvin toons as did my sons, back in the day, they would always cite their polls as to how I am doing as a father, never got above 10 percent. The 10% was from the older daughter.

If Calvin’s Dad stood up it wouldn’t amount to a lot of character.

Dad knows pollsters like Calvin are full of it.
