After a full day of school, kids deserve some time to themselves.

You gotta have your own time. Also, I often wonder about abandoned boats like that, and why they ended up that way.

Boredom is necessary in life. It gives space for creative outlet.

Everyone should have some down time.

I’m kinda sad for Rose. Good thing she has good friends and knows how to relax.

It can be good to have some after school activities, but kids need a word in what is chosen, and have the chance for free time.

Doing nothing is underrated.

Wallace would certainly know about doing “nothing.”

In an era of scheduled play dates, full-on down time is all the more important.

Free time is very important for kids!

Life on the water is Fine. (even a mud flat )

I see they found the S.S. Minnow, but no sign of Gilligan or the Skipper.

Well, has anyone seen him? I think it’s Sasquatch.

I like how the little house looks like seagull

The Seagull looks like he’s been doing too much of nothing, hanging around with Wallace and his friends. He’s getting a gut.

It’s rare for comics these days to make me smile, but every time I read the new Wallace the Brave in the morning it lights me up.

Wallace 4 ( Are We Lost Yet? )- comes out May 3-Woop! Woop!

I always like seeing the houses on stilts in the backgrounds of these strips, but it makes me wonder just how high does the tide get in Snug Harbor?

This is my first day back from being off a week on vacation. I read no comics during that time. Wallace the Brave is my favorite comic, but it is even better when I can binge read a week’s worth of new material at one time. I was also able to watch Will Henry’s interview on Rhode Island PBS. Fair notice to Mr. Will. If I ever get to Rhode Island, your shop will be my first stop :-)

Nice to see the seagull – Wallace’s seagull that is – in actual flight. Great art of showing him in mid flight there, Mr. H.

That’s EXACTLY why I’m spending my sleeping time going back commenting on comic strips right now.

Rose is cursed with a perfectionistic mom who wants to live her own broken aspirations. Sigh.

There’s a book, The Art of Doing Nothing. Productivity is for assembly lines, not humans.
