Conservatives tend to want things to always stay in the category they started in. Liberals tend to want things to be as fair to all as possible. The liberals have trouble when folks try to do two things that each prevent fairness in the other way. The conservatives have trouble when anybody puts their toes outside the (conservative-drawn) line.

A) If you’re not good enough to be competitive on the men’s team, you’re sure not going to be making records on the women’s team. There’s not THAT much difference in most sports.

B) Would anybody actually believe that a jock would want to become a woman and draw the ire of conservative homophobes and transphobes merely because he’s not the top man on the team?

Can Bok give even one example where a man had a sex change operation for the sole purpose of competing in women’s sports? Just one? Effing idiot.

It was hard enough to come out as Gay when I did. I can’t imagine the conflict Trans kids (and adults) go through.

You lot just cannot conceive that a transperson just wants to live their life, with no sinister, America-destroying ulterior motives, can you?

Who is Bok worried about here? He doesn’t give a damn about women or women’s sports. He certainly doesn’t care about equity between men’s and women’s athletics. Apparently all Bok is worried about is the loss of sanctity of the mighty penis.

Dems can’t even define what a Woman is these days.

Most men, once they realize what is entailed to make such an extreme change, won’t do it. It’s not as simple as declaring you’re a woman. There are medical requirements that must be attained.

Frankly, anyone who does something like this, then after their sports career is over, decides they are a man after all, should have to give up all the awards earned. After all, this is not something someone just flippantly changes their mind about, and anyone who does, under those kind of circumstances, should be treated as suspect.

Please show us even one example where someone went through a sex change in order to compete in women’s sports. Just one.

That doesn’t mean there aren’t real issues with defining who should be eligible to compete in women’s sports, but trivializing the issue with this kind of falseness doesn’t help.
