kids have always loved to draw on the walls, and anything else they can draw on.

I once knew a guy named Dave Cronk, Jr. He was quite a jerk.

“… You have that whole pile of rocks in your room that we gave you to draw on.”

Kids will be kids.

The house, and later flat we lived in, in our time in Sri Lanka, was covered with the handprints of my son…to the point where there was a clear line of dirt as high as he would normally reach. It wasn’t by any stretch, ‘art’.

Who knew Cronk, Jr’s cave wall painting would be so valuable today.

And today there will be a whole slew of archeologists trying to interpret those paintings. The people with spears are mighty hunters and the hand prints represent the number of deer that were killed (a total of 10.) ( Of course, I’m not an archeologist, so there could be other interpretations.)

I wondered why we don’t have nice things; now I know!

I see. Those handprints conflict with the two figures with spears, the antelope or deer and the Godzilla figure.

I like the two turkeys running with the deer.

Why doesn’t Junior just act like other kids and tweet the emoticons?

That made me laugh!

There are some pictographs in my area that are… rather graphic. The going theory is they were created by prehistoric bored teenagers.

I always tell people who are about to have or want kids…and this is from personal experience….give up having nice furniture, lamps, etc etc until the kids get around 10 years.
